SPECIALITY ITEMS AND ELEVATOR FEE
$125 per specialty item, $75 elevator fee
If your move requires an elevator (think: a high-rise apartment building), you may be charged an elevator fee.
Specialty items are items that are extremely fragile or heavy items that require additional help to move.
Such as: pianos, grandfather clocks, safes of any kind, extra heavy furniture pieces)
LONG CARRY FEE AND STAIR CARRY FEE
$20 and $25 per flight, inside or outside
If a mover has to carry household items to and from the moving truck over a long distance, then you may be charged a long carry fee. This fee is incurred when movers must carry belongings up and down several flights of stairs.
This fee is incurred when a moving truck isn't able to park close to your house. It's usually only necessary when homes have multiple stories and/or an above-average number of steps.
EXTRA STOPS and ADDITIONAL WORKERS
$50 per stop and $100 per worker
If the mover needs to make extra stops, expect to pay more.
The cost depends on the number of stops and the distance and labor involved in the stops.
An example might be a mover stopping at your storage unit to pick up items before delivering everything to your new home
Additional workers would be needed if you feel as though a two person crew wouldn’t be able to accommodate the size move you have.
This would be necessary if anticipate having a lot of items to be moved.
PACKING AND UNPACKING
$125/hr (2hr min)
Need help with packing/unpacking your belongings and removing supplies and debris?
With our packing/unpacking services you can focus on the excitement of your new beginning while we take care of the logistics. This service includes furniture wrapping.
EXPEDITED OR SAME DAY SERVICES
$250 + Standard Moving Rates
Need to move fast?
Long-distance moves can take up to two weeks.
If you need items quickly, you may have to pay extra for expedited delivery services.
For a successful move, the move should be scheduled 2weeks in advance to ensure a smooth transition.
FURNITURE ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
$50 per item needing assembly & disassembly
Furniture assembly is the process of creating furniture pieces by putting their individual components together.
When moving, disassembling furniture can be a game-changer, allowing you to fit large furniture items into a moving truck. Professional furniture disassembly services are available to make moving easier. This service includes but is not limited to: beds, tables, sofas, etc.
**Prices may vary depending on the level of difficulty to assemble or disassemble items
IN-HOUSE FURNITURE ARRANGEMENTS
$75/hr
This is a R.A.M specific service.
This service caters to our customers who needs furniture items rearranged within their home.
Needing an item moved from one room to another, this service is for you!
TELEVISION MOUNTING/ DISMOUNTING
$75 per TV
TV mounting is a service R.A.M offers to enhance your moving experience with us.
This service DOES NOT INCLUDE TV MOUNTS, MOUNTS MUST BE PURCHASED PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT.
